WHAT IS ABACUS?
- Abacus is an ancient Chinese tool which is used for calculation.
- It consists of rows of movable beads, or similar objects, strung on a wire. They represent digits. One of the two numbers is set up, and the beads are manipulated to perform an operation such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or even square or cubic root.
WHY ABACUS?
- By using the abacus (or the manual calculator) as a tool, the brainpower is harnessed.
- Also, there is a whole brain development since both the sides of the brain are stimulated.
HUMAN BRAIN – LEFT AND RIGHT:
- The Human brain has two halves: the right and the left
- The left-brain is linear and logical. The right brain is intuitive.
- When confronted with problems, the left-brain being logical, reasons out how intense will be the problem and allowing that to prevail on the mind, will make a person give up his goal.
- The way the right brain interprets the goal is different. It is not logical but creative and thinks about new methods to reach the goal.
- The right brain is able to “VISUALISE” the final scene of goal achievement and will not rest till newer methods of reaching the goal are found.

Abacus is a whole brain development program that maximizes the potential of the child’s brain.
It awakens the five senses for development and balance of mental health and physical capabilities and helps integrate the LEFT and RIGHT functions of the brain.
It also helps to stimulate the flow of information to the brain restoring the innate ability to learn and function at top efficiency.
COURSE DETAILS
The programme is for the age group of 4 to 13 years.
Level Details:
- Elementary levels – 6 Basic Levels ( 5 years to 8 years)
- Regular Levels – 6 Basic Levels + 4 Advance Levels (8years to 13 years)
- Grand Master Levels – 3 Levels
Session details:
- Duration per level – 12 – 16 weeks
- One session per week.
- Session duration 2 hours
- Students per batch– 6
- Certificates are awarded on the successful completion of each level
